I agree with MRHP, it's Hipo. That's a term that has been used in conjunction with Fords for years. My '61 Starliner is a Hipo(390/401). I hadn't heard the term used when referring to a Chevrolet before. Here on the east coast, we refer to Chevrolets as having Hi-Horse motors. In other words, a '61 Chevrolet with a 348/280 is just that, a 280 but a '61 Chevrolet with a 348/350 is called a Hi-horse car. In other words........it's a,...... well it's ..... Aw, just forget it!!! you see what happens when DQ qets back!!!

The difference between the HiPo and HiPro is a west coast vs east coast thing.:argue:

I've always heard it as HiPro and when I got involved with car shows and other car events the rightcoasters would say HiPo.

Dq and I will stick with HiPro until the fat Hippo sings.
