Well, lets see. Alexander Ocasio-Cockroach's "Green New Deal" is estimated to cost $93,000,000,000,000 (that is $93 trillion) over the next 10 years. This figure is not mine but noted economists over the country.
Right now our national debt is about $23,000,000,000,000 and is growing larger each year by over $1,000,000,000,000. In ten years, the USA will be in debt to the tune of more than $33,000,000,000,000 plus A. O. Cockroach's $93,000,000,000,000, which comes out roughly to $126,000,000,000,000. That is assuming no inflation. Adding inflation plus interest paid on the outstanding balance which is increasing at an exponential rate, the balance owed in the 11th year would be a measly $169,300,000,000,000,
No big deal! The next year's bill would be $170,300,000,000,000 plus interest, making it $184.600.000.000.000. Ad nauseum! Assuming todays interest rate, the interest alone would come to about $5,000,000,000,000 per year.
The next step would be to start using the next amount which is quadrillion (that is $1,000,000,000,000,000) The debt would only be $ .17 quadrillion. Whew, that sounds mo betta.
