Alternator Brackets for 59 348???

I have a 1959 348 (truck version) which is going in a 1959 El Camino. I want to add an alternator. Can anyone tell me where I might obtain an alternator bracket that will fit this engine and an engine wire harness equipped for an alternator? I have plenty of 350 parts but none of them seem to work. Thanks - Joe

Just changed my 59 over to a alternator, got the 3 brackets from Bruce at Show Cars and a new front harness from American Autowire and alternator from Summit. Harness is for a G M 3 wire alternator. Total cost was around $400.00.

Another option for the pivot bracket if your not concerned with looking original is the cast pivot bracket used on late SWP SBC's like 67-72 trucks and C3 corvettes,while they look like cast iron they're actually cast steel and easy to weld an extension to spread the bolt holes to match the 348-409 head.You do have to check belt alignment ,but thats something you need to do anyway.
