alternator brackets

The alternator mounting brackets on my new car.....are extremely .........."mickey mouse"....for lack of a better word...

Looked on Ebay.......and saw 4 options.......

I'm leaning towards Showcars billet aluminum unit.......or a stamped steel set from Ecklers.

Any pros...or cons....on either?

Hood clearance......power steering pump clearance......and alignment with stock pulleys........are all concerns.....

Car is a 61 with 690's...headers...and what I believe to be original pulleys and PS pump...

Show Cars makes the original alt. Brackets.
Might have to change pulleys depending on what is on your engine.

The Allan Grove brackets are the best in my opinion for cars with headers. I had mine power coated.
See the attached pictures of my 62 SS 409 with Jardine headers and with all original deep groove pulleys and 409 original power steering including a factory deep groove power steering pulley
