Wow!! A little grinding and polishing and those will be spot on. Assume you are going to send them out bare aluminum? Chrome plate will probably be exorbitantly expensive, not to mention tricky on that aluminum.
I'll be smoothing the welds out some, but I'll leave the polishing or chrome plating to the new owners, I hope. :D

Jim... are you going to be making your own aluminum bolts or are you going to buy them. I suggest USS threads, since they will hold better. No suggestions on how to make aluminum carriage head bolts, but I am certain that you will figure it out. ;) You are an amazing craftsman...
No aluminum bolts from me. I've got a box full of stainless carriage bolts that polish nicely.
