Wow thanks Cecil. I did a search earlier and came up empty. The link you gave is great. Looks like 7.65 Cal. I didn't realize the letters on the grip were FN. Also, mine has "sur" or safety in French like the link says. There is a letter in the holster Grandpa had typed to his Aunt but never sent. I also have several Austria medals described in the letter. I'm going to put some kroil on the slide and try to free it up. Probably hasn't been opened for 80-90 years. Not rusty though.

Put some kroil on it and looked at a video on field stripping. Took out the two screws as instructed and the slide only moved rearward a few thousands, same as before kroil. Maybe it's rusted up inside but will not come apart. I'll add more kroil and try to tap barrel on a board.

Also, I learned this pistol was a 32ACP and the first with a slide.
