back up light wire harness

My Bel-Air currently does not have back up lights. The two outer lights are running and brake and the inner two are just brake lights. I would like to convert the two inner lights to back up lights. Can anyone tell me what all I need and if I can convert from auto to manual later.

Dan-

You will need to run a wire from the neutral safety switch (either from the automatic column or the switch at the 4 speed tranny) to the reverse lights.

I will post a link form the accessories book which shows how to do it with a backup lamp kit.
