That '62 is not bad if it's in the Northeast. It looks to be about the same condition as mine, which will be getting new floors and quarters, hopefully this winter.

1961 Fuelie would be a 283 with 283 horses .

One year before the 327 came out with 250-300-340 or 360 horses as options in the Corvette.

I believe the highest HP rated 283, was the 61 fuelie vette rated at 315 horse. If I'm wrong I'm sure someone will correct me. I'm no Corvette expert by any means.

Must be a northen car, it has snow tires. Drive as is, everyone has a rebuilt vette. Imagine how much you'd piss off the vette guys with a driver quality 61 fuelie, snow tires, with the colour maybe wrong?

Hopefully when it goes back to "correct" silver, it also goes back to "incorrect" mags, slicks, headers and vintage lettering. The world is a better place with one less NCRS restored unuseable corvette.
If I won the lottery, I would probably buy the nicest restored mid year vette I could find and use it as a daily driver, even in winter to show people it's just a car.
Since I probably won't win the lottery, I will have to wait for them to become Model T's and drop in value once everyone that owns them now get to a point they can't drive them, and the rotten kids settle the estate and get rid of the worthless tupperware car out in the garage.

My latest " Garage Find " 72 Monte Carlo .... 42142 mile , hadn't been started or moved for nearly 10 years ... I got it running , needs a few things and a good cleaning ... Inspection sticker was August 1994 ... nice car !!!!

I saw this car for sale through the social media's. I don't recall where exactly or for how much. After some further inspections, I assume he thought it was in too rough condition. He posted the trailer photos along with it sprayed down at a car wash.

That method of vehicle restraint does terrify me, but the winch is still attached, as are the tie downs on the rear of the car. The front fenders here on calipornia cars often have about that much rust, the front of the hood isn't too scry either. The floor pans, the rocker panels, and the trunk and wheel well areas are the real concerns on any car. What state is this car from? People have surely restored much worse cars than this one.
