hi all , not a 409 question but i know alot of guys on here also play with bbc.
i have a 1966 425hp 427.i am freshening it up to go in a 66 biscayne with a 4spd and 4.56 gears.this car will see the dragstrip 2-3 times ayear for fun and cruise around town the rest of the time.a roller cam is not in the budget at this time so im looking for solid flat tappet.hoping someone has a proven cam to reccomend.
I have no power access so vacuum is not an issue.I want to be on the edge of streetability.the car may have to make some 100 mile round trips,granted at slow speed due to gearing but some reliability will be needed.is there a cam that has the feel and sound i want yet still be easy on components
