Best in Class award yesterday

Yesterday Sandy and I attended the Sunday In the Park at Lime Rock CT. Last year, we won 1st place in the Meeting of the Marques. This year, I was invited back to the Concours Event, and once again, my 1962 Chevrolet was awarded "Best in Class" in the First Responders category. It is truly an amazing car that everyone that walked by it, stopped to look at it.

Yes, I posted on the outside of the rear left door. People marveled how expensive a chevrolet was the way this car is equipped. One fellow said that he bought a convertible for less. I asked what it had for options. He responded "tires", and nothing more. 3 speed and 6 cylinder. In the trade, back then, they called that the "bread & butter" sales. They sold quickly, the margins were good, and everyone went home with a pay check.
