Big thanks to Gav and Steve for the fire crews that are working the fires here in Idaho and Oregon. The whole western United States is on fire and the help is appreciated.

Thanks but I'm not threatened have to burn a lot of city to get to me. Thanks to all the fire fighters on the front lines. !!! We lost four this week to the fire.

I was talking to my brother that lives a little north of you in British Columbia Canada, he said they've hardly had any rain in the last ten months.
I gather the whole west coast has been very dry.
I think Ronnie and the rest of the crew in Texas have been hogging all the rain.

Jim - Yes the whole area from California to Idaho has been very dry for a few years. We did get some spring rain but all that does is make the grass grow into a really good fuel !

Actually it all evaporated in two days when the sun came out.
