A couple had been debating the purchase of a new auto for weeks. Dan the husband wanted a new truck; Sally the wife wanted a fast little sports car so she could zip around town.
Dan would probably have settled for any old truck,
But Sally she liked everything that was way out of their price range.
"Look!" she said, My birthday is coming up, you could surprise me." "I want something that goes from 0 to 200 in four seconds or less.
So, Dan the quick witted man that he is, said, No Problem! Babe,
I’ll buy you a "brand new" bathroom scale, that will do 0 to 200 in less that 3 seconds, and look, we don’t even have to finance it.
Services for Dan will be held at
Downing Funeral Home on Monday the 15th.
Due to the condition of his body, this will be a closed casket service.
