RIP Allen. Although we never met in person, I appreciated your advice.
RIP Allen George who was kind enough to share a room with me in Indy at a National Impala Association meeting there years ago

I had stopped by on the way home from a Norwalk (or was it Thompson?) gathering but had no plans to stay. Was in the 62 SS car. As the day grew longer my plans changed and I decide to stay the night. Allen offered me some space in his hotel room. I did get to see Hank Gabbert's Z-11 make a trip down the drag strip that day. Will always remember Allen's comraderie.

Many consultations on the phone with Allen. Always got right to the point. Can't remember one race we had when he would chide me, "where were you" ? Any one here remember him climbing in through the window of the BlueScreamer? He was just a cool ole racer.
RIP my friend had some great talks with you the last few years thanks for the guidance
