BMP aluminum 409 block question.

Description says accepts bb chevy cam with 409 lobe extensions. Can someone educate me on what this is?

It’s like taking a BBC cam and putting the lifter lobe locations of a 409 on it but this is really not true of the BMP either!

Brian, I've heard rumors World Products is not going to produce 409 blocks in the near future. Any truth in this. Thanks, Barry
