New to this forum but have been playing with 409s since around 1970 back when everyone called them boat anchors. Right now I have a stroked 409 Bubbletop with a Richmond 5 speed, 32 Ford 5 window with a409 6 duece set up and a 4 speed and am building a 57 Belair 409 4 speed Gasser:cheers

Hey Bosco

Welcome aboard!

Well Bosco you've just triggered more "drooling" and exitement with that list of cars, than a probable response by way of a recent EBAY ad with a picture of a Bubble-top... paired with a scantilly-dressed model. :D

Impressive "stable" of cars .

BTW..if you haven't noticed yet...we do like lots of pictures...

Welcome Bosco,, what part of Okla. are you in? :)

Tulsa Area "green country" Only about 1/2 of the cars are done. Some are closer than others. Just fired up the 32 it has the small heads a mild solid lifter cam. Need to learn how to post some pics :?:?

More pics I found.. This is my 60 Vette and my on's 55 At the drags in Tulsa

The 55 has a 494 BBC and a rock-crusher with an Olds rear-end.
The Vette ran a 13.55 on 670x15 bias and the 55 ran low 12s (no traction):cheers
Also a pic of the BBC before we installed it in the 55

Bosco,

Welcome to the W asylum :hug

Your sons' '55 has that Two Lane Blacktop/American Graffiti look nailed. All in all a very nice assemblage of fine cars.
