Good to hear, 40 taper is what you want, I have a CNC machine that only has a 30 taper in it, got be careful what size cutter, depth a and feed rate.

I still would be concerned about the flex/vibration caused by the machine while working versus just direct mounting to the concrete floor. Some of our clients have us dig up and install deeper concrete footers directly under their machines to give it the most stable base possible. :deal
 
As you can see, Jason, I already removed the pallet.
I had to add a few pounds to my car, to fit the class. I thought what better way, than design a new transmission mount.
