I took a 13 year trip to the dark side with my 55 Customline. I got bored with it when it was finally finished. In it's final form it had a .060 over 312 with the "C" cam, an Edelbrock FM257 with twin WCFB's, a Cruiseomatic transmission and a 3:00 9 inch rear. It also had power rack and pinion steering and a tilt column. It was a great runner and very reliable. I traded it along with too much cash for my present 62 SS.
I betcha, a lot of us, started out driving Fords. The 1986 Mercury Grand Marquis, that I sent to the junkyard,(Rotted Frame) two years ago, was one of the best cars we owned. Anyhow, my Blood is still Ember RED.
