The idea of going out at the track in a crash appeals to me more than going out in a hospital bed. That said for some reason as my car gets quicker I have some concerns that my only safety equipment consists of a fire extinguisher and a lap belt. The lap belt is connected to the rear floorwell with 3/8" bolts with fender and lock washers. Unless I install a cage I have no options for a harness. Car is not that quick, 11.50's is my goal. A roll over with a 60's hardtop would probably tend to jamb my neck a little. My other concern is fire.

That is why I pulled the plug on the Salt Shaker for now. Ray I have an idea that your car is not a rusted up piece of crap, so that should give a little better safety margin.
