Carter"s

Last summer. I removed the carbs. from my 64 because they would leak after I shut it off. At the time, I had an electric pump. I installed to 2 600cfm Edelbrocks and return the mainual fuel pump. I notice the the car does not perform as well with the Edelbrocks. I know that they probably need some tuning. I know I'll get around to it sooner or later but for the mean time, I would like to know who I can send the Carter"s to for a rebuild that won't break the bank.
Have a happy Easter.

Jester, Those Eddy`s should work as good or better then your Carters.
I would guess that you need to re-jet them to get the performance back that you lost.
Also make sure you use the carb plates under the Eddy`s.

These are one of the easier carbs to rebuild.
You should be able to do it yourself with a kit from any parts house.
Just make sure you clean them out really good and follow the instructions on reassembly.,,dq
