Casting number question---

Hi. A good buddy of mine brought over a disassembled 348 for me to look at, and it has a peculiar intake included with this pile of parts. It has a heat riser passage under the plenum, but no holes to the carb flange. I think it's a truck intake, it has casting number 3844472 on it. I haven't seen any reference to that number, that's what makes me think its a truck intake. Any verification here?

What is the casting number on the block? What is the casting date on the block? If thee block is a 5011 block,a truck block,it will have 2 notches at the top,if it's 962 or 655 ,it will only have one like the car 5011 block had.

Thanks for the replies. This was a disassembled 60 348/250 horse, but there's whole bunch of assorted parts from all over. The other intake included here was a correct 250 horse intake, this other one was part of the mix. The intake runners are different from the car unit, and the heat riser crossover passage is different as well, so I assume its a truck intake.
