Did a few of them myself. Yes they're dangerous, but if you don't pay close attention they'll kill you.

I used to do a few of them when I was working in a service station back in the '60's. They scared the S*** out of me 'cuz I had seen the dents in the ceiling over the changing machine and knew what caused them.
Tractor with loader on the farm. Bucket with manure teeth over the rim, air hose between the teeth.

Exactly what we did in the Phillips 66 station I worked at in my youth. 25+ years ago a young man named Hendershot from LaPorte City unfortunately didn’t survive a split rim truck tire accodent. Happened just down the street from Mike Schmitz’s place.

Hendershot Trucking was/is just west of Mike‘s place on same side of road. They might be out of business now. Think you’re right about his brother.
