I offered to cook a prime rib at Thanksgiving and then at Christmas. The wife specifically wanted shrimp and stuff on Thanksgiving, and she said no to Christmas. However, most of the time it's the usual, prime rib, turkey, hams etc., so if she wants something different this year, I am ok with that. Besides, I am getting plenty of all that stuff elsewhere with less clean up :brow

I smoked a boneless turkey breast with apple chips, really tuned out great, that and imported dry Italian sausage, aged provolone cheese, shrimp, homemade meatballs (my own recipe) and home made bread stuffing with sautéed onions and celery. And lots of Jim Beam black.
