It probably was a heck of a deal but that's a big block, not a mystery motor, valve covers are too wide and that doesn't look like a GM intake.

The intake on this engine is an old Edelbrock Torquer.That would have been a neat car.

I could drive over and ask Johnny Rutherford's opinion. He lives only 8 blocks from me.

I used to pass his house on the way to local drive by nights in my 62 (back before the rust). I knew he lived here but never knew where until I was doing tax value research on homes for sale in this area. The property behind him came up for sale but was a bit out of my price range. I swear I saw him at the local church during the 2008 election voting night but wasn't real sure so I kept quiet.

Maybe I should fire up the 62 and make a pass on his street?
