I can't make out what the orange plate hanging from the bell housing in the last pic is Dan? Also, what are the black braces from the bell housing for?

Is the diaper there to collect clutch if it detonates? I've never see one...

It's there to keep oil and water off the tires when the rods come out.
Is that really true?? I've never seen or heard of a diaper for a car engine before. At first, I thought it was some type of parachute. Shows how much I know, Carmine.

Yep,6.40 or 9 anything in the quarter.It's really becoming widespread over the last couple of years.

Can't bring myself to give Brians post a "like". I'll probably comply with the rule, but I don't have to like it. Damn diapers, concrete barriers, SFI certified everything. If it gets any safer it won't even be racing anymore.
At least we don't have restrictor plates yet. Oh wait .....we have throttle stops. Yea ....thats some real racin' right there.
