Initially, the welds were 6 - 8 inches in length, with 3 - 8 inches unwelded in between. I could tell there were at least 4 four different welders which had been welding on the frame, based on the quality of the welds. Some appeared to be cold, others nearly too hot.
It was pointed out to me that the line probably had a kit with all the pieces in it, they were placed on a jig, held in with clamps, and a team of 2 -3 welders per side did the work.
The body tag shows mine came out of the Oakland facility.
