The best deal I ever got was at the Pomona Ca. swapmeet, when everyone was packing up to leave I spotted a 66 SS tilt column with a modern steering wheel on it in the parking lot next to some guys who were partying. I asked the guy how much and he said $100, I guess he mistook the surprised look on my face for disdain and lowered the price to $75... I fumbled for my wallet.
