OK, it's almost time for the fall Eagle Field event. I am sorta ready, which means I haven't touched my car since the West Coast Shootout. So:

Everything went well, usual flag-start 1/8 mile with lots of entertaining stuff.

One cool thing was some R/C pilots demonstrating jet fighter models...if you never seen one of these, it is pretty impressive.

One very interested observer who asked a lot of technical questions, was nobody but Ed Iskenderian!! He's gotta be 95+ now, but that guy is definitely doing something right.

I take stupid pictures. The Imperial might be one of the biggest 2 door cars I have ever seen, I'd love to have a highway yacht like that. Not sure what for. The model jet was the one Isky was looking at, and that pilot was really good. Made you airsick just watching, and I don't get airsick. The other two planes were Blue Angel replicas, beautifully done as well.
