Has anyone installed the Eddy 1904 AVS2 500CFM in a progressive linkage configuration. I have a 409 that is pretty much Stock other than a set of dougs long tubes and want to change out my AFB's to the latest AVS2 Looking for suggestions on Primary, Secondary and Rods.

Current AFB front and rear are as follows.
Front jets are .1015
Secondary are .077
Metering rods .057-.065

The avs2s feature annular boosters which are calibrated leaner by design.Run them as out of the box first.Driving impressions and plug readings will determine if any changes are necessary. I would recommend not setting them up progressive, but direct. The engine will be more responsive that way.If you don't already have them, get some pholic spacers to put under the carbs .

I think Eddy has a recommended setup on their tech site. There are some needle and jetting differences between the carbs that are delivered for typical 1x4 applications as opposed to 2x4 applications. Can't hurt to look or call.
