Engine Swap

I am about to pull and sell the original 6 cylinder out of my 61 bel air bubble top along with the oringinal 3 speed standard transmission. My intent is to put a 348 or 409 4 speed in. Are there any precious parts I should not let go along with this drive train that I will wish I had kept when it comes time to drop the W motor in? Radiator, brackets, braces, etc.


Personally, I would keep the whole works it if it's original to the car. (and you have a spare corner in the garage to store it in)

This would IMO, increase the value if you ever wanted to sell.
