This thing has more controls than the space shuttle, They are all defined with definitions it has an AC balance control AC/DC frequency control it has blue spark and noise control. It also tells you how and defines the pulse option, You can use a foot paddle to start your arc or you can use a finger trigger on the torch. You can set the amount of time the gas Is on and off so you can cool the Weld and your tungsten prevent warping. You can also adjust the rate of amp increase and decrease So your welding starts are crisp and even. This thing is a game changer!

With a full tank of argon and a couple pounds of filler rod, you'll find out what settings you like best. I'd keep a log book to note each change in settings and what effect each has. Keep a pack or two of tungsten sharp and ready to change when you dip in the puddle, LOL. Have fun!

I have been looking at going to a Everlast TIG welder w/a water cooled torch. I have a old Miller Syncrowave 180 non-water cooled and would like more amps plus water cooled.Some of friends are running Everlast with positive results.

You don't "get" a cart, you "build" one!! That's the first welding project.

I was able to get a little hood time, I need to rig up a hand rest to make straight welds. These were just hovering over the aluminum. Starting to figure out the settings.
