Finally got the car out to the track Sunday. The Daughter and Grandson were in town and my son Blake rode out with her. Took the grandson “6 yrs. old” for a warm up ride up the return road and to the scales. Car weighed 3496 with his 45lbs. and my 186lbs. So I’m happy with that. First pass ran a 7.12 at 96.57 mph and my 2nd pass was a 7.07 at 97.11 mph. These were using the transbrake. Next up i put Blake in the car and told him to just footbrake it and it went 7.08 at 96.96 mph. Not bad for his first pass in a race car. He’s got a 900 Kawasaki that runs 6.70s We called it a successful day and loaded up. Got a few videos but I’ll have to get Brittany to post those.
