and now the Rest of the Story......all components are '63 and stock. Engine is 60 over w/ stock compression, cam grind, carburetors, exhaust, dripper valve covers, etc. mated to a 220:1 BW tranny and 4:11 gears w/ stock 4th rear upper control arm. The car was built to be a car ordered for drag racing, w/ radio and heater delete. (actually I don't think radio delete would be correct because the cars didn't come w/ one, unless you ordered it). Anyway "day two" items added are 14" M/T Challenger Cheater Slicks, Hurst linkage w/ stock shifter, high pressure carter fuel pump w/ fuel pump gauge in place of the return line on the fuel filter housing, 90/10 front shocks, and vintage Steward Warner gauges. Some of you will remember at our first 348/409 race @ Bowling Green, I took this motor off the chassis and ran it @ the Hot Rod Reunion in the '62 Bella cause the race motor wasn't ready and I was NOT going to miss that gathering. It ran 12:95 off the trailer and consistent that week end, and it had blast...... Now, your have the rest of the story! Enjoy!
