My good friend...DJ...recently came into some interesting Z11 materials. Those that related to the Jackshaw car he was kind enough to send to me
First a bit of history. We all know that the team from Jackshaw Chevrolet raced the car through the 1963 season. The car was sold and campaigned as the White Tornado for a couple of years. The car then went to RC Moore in KC and raced locally. While in KC RC sold the aluminum which went to Washington state. Some how the balance of the car wound up on Oklahoma. Ron Misler found the car and returned it to Michigan. Ron restored the car using service replacement aluminum... this was 1968 or 69. In the restoration process all or part of the glass was changed.
OK...enough history. Among the items DJ sent me was the original vent window removed in the restoration.
