I picked this set of carbs up off ebay a few months back and got such a deal i really didn't hesitate and just pulled the trigger on the purchase. The roll stamping doesn't look like any stamps I've seen in person or in photos, A date code is not present on one the carbs and appears the S is stamped upside down. The other carb has a date on it but does not seem to line up with anything in the Chevrolet by the numbers book. The date and carb number are also stamped on the same line where as every other carb seems to have number on top date code on bottom. The date code is F7B june of '67? then what would the B represent? 2nd week? That just don't seem right.

What do you guys think? Seen carbs stamped like these before? No triangle metal tags on them either.

Replacement carbs? By 67 almost all if not all the GM cars had Quadrajets on the single 4 bbl.cars and trucks.
