Gray paint code needed

Hello, I'm looking for the gray color paint code that would have been on the valve covers. I know you can buy the paint but I'm wanting to get the paint from my local PPG paint shop so I need the code if anyone has it

thanks Tom

I think Phil has commented that there is no available paint code now, from
his former experience at his business( is that right Phil ?)
The only option for the correct silver I think is the paint that Show Cars sells.
The correct color is not gray, it’s silver.

I've never seen any freshly painted ones but any old ones I've seen had a kind of pewter color was that due to exposure to oil and gas or fading?

The color was called Argent which I think is French for Silver. Both GM and Ford used it to paint gravel shields and the pans beneath bumpers. Look at the front pan of a 1966 full size Chevy for example.

Possibly more information than you want, but this is what I had saved from a few Corvair websites that I frequented. No longer have a Corvair that used this color, so I will be deleting this information. Sometimes, if you have the old number, the paint manufacturers can convert that old number to a new formula.
