Midwest Drag Racing event pulls out of GB

The Midwest Drag Racing Series Midwest Nationals event planned for June 16-18 at Great Bend’s Sunflower Rod and Custom Association dragstrip has been canceled, according to an announcement Friday by the Tulsa, Okla.-based Midwest Drag Racing Series organization.

The story I get is the surface is 1/8 inch out of level. I can't imagine 1/8 would make a difference ,others have told me yes The contractor that did this has since passed away and his business is dissolved. I think his son had his own business before his dad passed, not real sure on that. . Just saying what I have heard is the problem. June 3 2022 a racer lost control for some reason and was killed . No explanation of why the crash occured has come about .
