Happy Columbus Day everybody!! I know, you're not supposed to say that anymore. That's why I just did. They want to change it to indigenous peoples day, or something like that. Anything to water down American history the way it really happened and minimize the lives of true Americans. Maybe we should start a new holiday called Indignent People's Day, where we rise up and protest political correctness and encroaching liberalism.Time to call a spade a spade and return American history to the recital of the original facts, not some fictional fantasy that the left wallows in. Have a great day, everybody, remember to thank God for the truth. Yes, we can still do that.I just did.

I think they need to start one called National Roosterfish Day and see how many take the day off.

God always sends a prophet to the land. Sounds like that's part of the liberal playbook. Today, gabby nuisance, the governor of this socialist dump, signed into law a gun confiscation law that would enable the enemy( the state )to confiscate your guns if somebody like a family member, an employer, or anybody else decides you shouldn't have one. This is without trial, or any other legal means. I'm sure there are persons who read open forums to snoop on whoever communicates issues that they might deem objectionable. Time to leave this third world welfare state.Just remember that famous quote ," Whenever any portion of a government of the people, by the people, and for the people disregards those same people, then by those same people, that portion of government needs to be abolished".

While going through boxes of things that were left to us after my parents and my in laws passed away about ten years ago,I found several old coins they had collected. One was probably the most politically incorrect silver half dollar imaginable. In 1892 the Chicago Columbian Exposition was celebrated, sort of a national fair, ( the Ferris Wheel made it's first appearance there), and the coin was the Christopher Columbus half dollar. There were also quarters struck with his likeness as well, but the half was a two year coin with around a few thousand put into circulation. The mint retained about half of them, and they were later melted down and used to make later coinage. The value of this particular half dollar even today is only around $15-25 depending on condition. I bought several and put them in my safe with the other coinage we received. All I can say is that Christopher Columbus was an all around good guy based on who it is that still hates him. He wasn't even a Republican president. Maybe he should have been.

Red Flag Laws. They are in more states than you think.

Another funny scenario the state brought on itself. San Francisco, a place not to be proud of, with its total surrender of the public places to the whims of professional homelessness, has such a problem with dirty needles and feces everywhere that the city has been ordered to clean up the hazardous waste and sharp object hazard, and don't they dare wash the place off with fire hoses and shove it down the storm drains where it would contaminate the ocean or the bay. They have to manually remove it. Why can't the fearless examples of human achievement that made the mess clean up after themselves?Or would that constitute unfair discrimination if people were forced to accept responsibility for themselves. It's not a new problem for the city to tolerate nonconformity. Fifty years ago was the Haight-Ashbury days, with the hippie protesters of the Vietnam war, and all else that went along with that. They were actually a tourist attraction, people went to see that area to see if it was for real. This, however, is on a much larger scale today.
