Having a kniption

Crappy parts asid...I haven’t heard the word KNIPTION since my mom was around.

My mom grew up within maybe 5-10 miles of Jeff. She was the only one i ever heard say Kniption Fit. Must be a norther South Dakota thing.

Kaniption was a common word in our extended family from West Virginia, my mom's side. Dad was air force, so we spread the word around I guess.

Kniption fit was common in New Jersey where I was born. We moved to Virginia when I was 7 years old and the term changed to hissy fit. Much later I moved further south to North Carolina and it morphed to a duck fit.
Gotta love coloquial English.

I think we spelled it conniption and I am not sure how it became part of our discussions when I was growing up.

I had this same problem on my 99 Suburban. Went through 3 Airtex fuel pumps in 6 months and the vendor replaced them all but after the third one they gave me a refund. I found a another pump from a place for $45 and it has worked for almost a year now, the truck has a lot more power to boot.
