Having sold my big lathe to get ready for the exit from the shop after a long stay in one place, man sure have a bunch of crap. :facepalm
It was a bit of a chore getting this beast out of the back room of the shop. I tried to stay far away from this, I kinda like my toes. :fear

My baby lathe was just a 12/36 drop bed, and that was heavy enough going in and out. I cannot imagine something that size or bigger. Good to hear you still have all your fingers and toes. Those kind of items are a better pay for delivery and move thing for me now a days.

James, I can relate to that, I got a 47 Tonne electric press brake back in May, the machine weighed 4.5 tonne, hired a 15 tonne Franna articulated crane to get it into place, a tight fit for the crane but it all went well, good luck with the downsizing,
