Hi looking for information on exhaust manifolds. 409/425+hp The car is not raced just fun on streets not sure to go with Mark Wilson headers or cast stock high performance exhaust manifolds from show cars. Thanks for any info.

A little information about the engine build my help us help you.
Engine is a 1964 409 QB that was rebuilt by Carl McQuillen, motor was stroked and bored 40 over mild cam solid lifters.
Sounds like the headers would be a good upgrade.

My other question. I have exhaust manifolds that are for low horsepower motors would the hipo manifolds make that much of an improvement. Sorry I am all over the place trying to make a informed decision with your help.Thanks Tony
Not sure that the improvement over the low H/P is cost effective.
I like the factory manifolds also and have stock manifolds on 3 of my cars and a set of Wilson headers on my 4th but that car is going to be my stop light to stop light car with my mickey thompson crossram and 513 posi after I finish my current motor and swap out the one in it now .
I believe Phil might possibly have an extra set
