Holley on 465 manifold???

Ok, here is the first question on my rebuild.......sure there will be many more.:
Upon gathering stuff, I have a brand new 600 cfm 0-80457S Holley carb....it appears to fit on my 3844465 manifold..
I have searched the threads and not found any talk about this set up.
Does anybody know if this set up will work?????
Keep in mind that I am building a truck motor with 333 heads.

Terry, I'm in the middle of the same build. 656 block with 333 heads. I'm not going to race it, just mainly for bragging rights. I'm putting an Edelbrock on a 472 intake. Thanks for the info.......I have a very similiar adaptor plate with a gasket on both sides.
I also threaded the holes in the manifold under this adaptor plate and installed allen set screws to block them off.
I will not be racing mine either
after all, its just a 56 chevy pickup truck with a truck engine
