Yes it was the same engine from the Clay City race.
That had to be 14 or more years back.
The block was trashed, number 1 rod came out of the oil pan.


14 years doesn't seem that long ago,I live about 50 miles southwest of clay city and drove my 63 over that day and remember talking to you, Ronnie Russel and Fred Totten and Fat Head racing was there and few others.To bad about the engine not being repairable but i am sure you have found another one by now.
