I'm sorry, I wasn't trying to beat Phil over the head but Richard answered the question fully and correctly in the first response to the question. People come on this site looking for answers and those answers should be correct and backed by facts, not just opinions or thoughts. Sorry Phil.
Several years ago I was in a western grand national show with the 62 SS car and there was a nice 62 Belair in my 36B class with those 6 inch wheels and I don’t know the judging results but the one thing I don’t do in AACA is to “point out” incorrect items. Oh heck I wooped up on him anyway in points probably due to other more obvious things.
That Belair could be acceptable to AACA though as they could have been supplied sold by the dealer as an over the counter item as delivered. Sort of like the famous 61-62 tachs both cars have as I have been “challenged” previously but keep the book with the RPO code nearby
