New Feature! Ignore a forum

We have a new feature for those that would like to ignore a particular forum they are not interested in (this option is only available in: Everything Political AND the Jokes forum) The ignore button only shows in those.

To Ignore, click on the forum from the main index page and click the Ignore button shown here:

Now that forum will no longer show any of it's content. It will also not show up in New posts.



If you ever wish to opt back in, click your "username" near the top right of the forum as shown and then click on "Your Ignored Forums."

This page will pop up showing forums being ignored. Clicking where shown below will restore that forum back to normal.

Thanks for the help Bob. For some reason I was feeling forced to read forums I don't care for. I see them. I see the title and subject. However I have always felt that I had to read all forums on this site. So I appreciate you relieving me of the burden to do so. Don't know why someone didn't think of it sooner, seems so sensible. Reminds me of Hustler back in the 70's, People were very upset that they were forced to purchase, read and look at the pictures. :wacko

Hey Bob, how about an ignore button for the ignore button:wacko Also, there are some things on my TV, Radio, Internet, people in my town, a whole bunch of the left, and lots at my work that I would like you to address please. :pray

So Bob, you troublemaker, do you think this will really help the bitcher's that complain about the 2 forums, but still click on them? WTF How about a shock collar instead?:guitar:drums:elvis:flag:flag:flag:flag:flagDon't go PC on me....I'll ban you.....:hide:hide:hide:hide:hide:hide I wonder if these same people bitch about the quality of the sluts on a porn site on their third visit????

What has the left done to this country that has led to people so sensitive, they are not able to even see a title, or few words without getting upset. I wonder if these same people go to their cable company and demand certain channels or shows be removed from their lineup so they don't have to turn the channel? Why cant they just not look, or read the forums? There are things here I don't care for. I don't complain and ask Bob to ban them or create ignore buttons. Bob......... could we have a Porn forum, the sluts on the one's that I presently visit are real skanks..
