Jim, The car was originally lite green & white. I still have the first licence plates and registration from New York. It will be registered with those plates.

I will publicly note that you excused youself from "the circle" the night after my wedding, setting a good example for us all.

Butch, my orginal color was also light green. Here's a photo of my 57 in 1979, when I paid $250 for a bare body shell.

Hi Guys, Here is the next installment of my "W" project. ENJOY !!
1 Heater control from the parts car. 'My '57 didn't have one. Light=fast
2 After a complete rebuild & testing.
3 Dash harness from race car.
4 What spaghetti ? "I DON'T NEED NO STINKIN HARNESS"
5 What a difference a new harness makes !
6 AIN'T THAT PRETTY !
7 No drips /No runs/No errors
8 Decided to rebuild & restore the speedo. The 00427 stands for the big block it had back in the day.
9 Wound up with 3 to choose from Left(original)-center ( from the parts car )- right (had on shelf)
10 Best of the 3 sandblasted & primed
11 speedo gets a rebuild
12 Almost done, all new lenses & paint
13 Bel -Air had a chrome trim piece going around the housing. I cleaned it up as best I could with 0000steel wool.
14 Speedo all done. I think it came out nice !!
All the new pieces came from Danchuk
