LED garage lights

BTTT......I'm wanting to get something on my shop ceiling in the next month or so.
What have been your results since this was posted originally? I have 12' ceiling so will need a helper with his own 12' ladder!!!!!

I retro fitted all the lights in my shop with LED... You can use your original florescent fixtures.. just cut the ballasts loose and wire for 110.. look at keystone bulbs... they are less than$10 a bulb and you don't have to buy a new fixture.

Also as stated earlier. you will want the frosted bulbs..no clear bulbs unless you want to see spots all the time.

Thanks, went from 10' ceilings to 14 1/2 on rebuild due to building code changes with township, allowed hoist/lift, & higher storage area over bench, can stand up on mezzanine now!!Same foot print, but can get 3 vehicles in now with hoist!!!

My LED lights and shit scattered all over the place! !!! In the middle of a build. Will clean it before I shoot paint!!

Switched over to LED 4 foot to replace 40 T8 bulbs in my 1600 sq ft shop.
These are ballast compatible (BC) only required re & re the bulbs....no re-wiring to bypass the ballast......
When I changed out the T8 bulbs in our laundry room they went on for 5 sec then went out.
Called the 1-800 number and they told me these bulbs are only compatible with about 90% of ballast......
By-passed the ballast in that fixture and all is good....... Bought on Amazon with free shipping........
