$10000 to $ 13000+ cost of a new frame and suspension (all the new frames you see being installed -the cost is not mentioned much) like this http://www.schwartzperformance.com/1958-1964-fullsize-chevy-impala-biscayne-chassis/

Air ride $ 1300 + installation $900 (minimum with alignment) + other related parts like exhaust changes, driveshaftetc., Plus possible new front a frames and rear suspension necessary like this link (over $ 4000 ) + installation https://www.ridetech.com/products/suspension-packages/product-3237/

Why to low for me -that's just my opinion & not worth the cost.
I would rather have a stronger rear end ( inch ford or Moser and a better driveshaft and/or 5 speed Richmond transmission )
Each person does what they like.

1 coil off both front and back, 15" rims with 235/75 15 tyres on all four corners, fronts 6" wide 3" back space, rear 8" wide 4" back space.
drives and rides really good, had to modify the power steering fittings on the control valve to clear the chassis at full lock going through a spoon drain.

Could be air bags with all of the air dumped out? I can't roll that low in mine, with all of the air out - mufflers are the lowest point and 1/4" from the pavement and I think 3" in front and 5" back from frame to ground. I kept stock frame and spindle height but rolling on ridetech system with 17" front and 18" rear wheels. I air up around 2" for slow driving and another 2" on the highway.
