Did anyone else here catch this evil-bay auction? Guy had no clue as to what he had. Looks like he was smart enough to turn down the $160,000 offer (after he found out what it was). Makes you wonder, where did he get it and what other treasures are still out there waiting to be found. Also, if he hadn't posted the VIN, this car might still be "lost"
Hopefully the new owner will restore this car to it's original glory soon.

this car/auction is all over the internet right now. There was talk that Jay Leno got in on the action also saturday night :eek:

when he first put the auction up and the full details of the car hadn't been discovered yet, he had a Buy it Now price of $4,000!!!! :doh

When I first saw the listing it was about $1350. I didn't see a $4000 buy it now or I would have hit it.:cuss

the buy it now was up for like half a day and somebody advised him to remove it and let the auction run its course :cool:
