Manual brake MC studs longer?

Putting a manual MC on the 64 that had power brakes on it. The studs barely go through the nuts. Did manual cars have a longer stud?

No, Are you putting a dual master? The newer dual masters are a little thicker then the orig single. Just don't use a lock washer and use some blue locktite, it'll be fine. Or you can use a thin jam nut

Yep a new dual off a 70 Impala/truck as it has a deep recess for pushrod.
