March pulley kit

I have a 1958 impala with a 348. When I first rebuilt the engine, I purchased a rotating assembly kit from Mr 409 out California. I believe his name was Steve. Of course he is out of business. With his kit I received a 6" OD aftermarket harmonic balancer. Know I,am looking to put a March pulley system on it. The problem I,am having is the balancer is bigger then the stock balancer so this throws the alignment off.
My question is can I remove this aftermarket balancer and install a new stock balancer, Will this have any problems with balance in the engine. Are the 348,s internally balanced. if so this should be no problem to change. Please help me out

Be aware that most of the new small balancers have the timing mark set up for the 69 and later long water pump arrangment and will cause your timing tab to be off by 10 degrees. This will not have a negative effect on your balance. The 348-409's are internally balanced.
